Halloween

halloween is definitely sawyer's favorite holiday. he is still talking about it! we carved pumpkins. (i got the good one...scott's pumpkin guts were gross and slimy.) sawyer helped design and attempted to help carve. he was more interested in trying on his costume and running around the house, posing as batman. you should see him in action. he's got the moves down.

on halloween sawyer went to preschool and had a parade around a few of the high school classrooms. then they partied! i had the usual parade and party at school also. i decided to not dress up this year. i didn't want to make or buy a pregnant costume. right after school we went to amanda's house for trick-or-treating. it is becoming a tradition. we had two batmans! these are koren's little ones. (sawyer is second from the left.)

not bad for a put together costume, huh?

he wore his costume every day after school for about two weeks and still puts on the cape and mask several times a week. he loves dressing up and running around like a super hero. we feel very protected from any super villains that may come our way.
