Sawyer at 6 months

Well, it's Scott updating for once. My first time. Yay!
So Mr. Sawyer-man is now six months old and has perfected the art of rolling over both directions. Back-to-tummy, tummy-to-back, you name it he can do it. As such, we have reached the BIG trouble we predicted because now that means he's mobile!
Did you see how quickly he did that? No more leaving him on the couch for us.
To make things worse, it seems he's already plotting the next step: he is fully aware of his legs and using 'em!
(Sorry, the vid is a little long.)

As if those steps weren't enough, his adjustment to baby food is also in full swing.
Hmm... doesn't seem to like the chicken and rice flavor much, does he? Hope that means we have a little while longer before he gets too grown up!
Thinking of you until the next post....

sawyer's first christmas! grandma kris brought over some gifts. saywer's favorite color is red, so this wrapping paper was a big hit!he was so interested in what was going on.
what a long break! i had 16 days off of work and it seemed like forever. saywer and i flew to michigan and stayed for 10 days. scott came for a few days in the middle. it was a lot of fun! we did a lot of visiting. (i had to show off the "cutest baby in the world"...this is not just my opinion, one of christian's friends commented, "he is so cute, he could be in commercials!")......but i would never brag ;)
sawyer learned how to play parcheesi with papa haynes.
christian was a little hesitant when we first got there. he has never really been around babies, unlike his sister, but by the end, he was running around with his nephew and was an expert at making sawyer giggle. man, that baby loves his uncle chris!one of the last days we were there, three of my friends, holly, ruthie, and angela, came with their children and husbands and filled my parents home with noise and fun. we had 10 kids in all!!!i love christmas! it truly is one of my favorite times of the year!!!
