One of my favorite parts was a section called Little Hands on the Farm. It was a chance for the little ones to be "farmers." The following pictures are of that part of the Fair.
Here he is all ready to be a farmer. He has his apron and basket.
He fed and "milked" a cow.
He picked an "apple" from the orchard.
He planted a "seed" and harvested his crop. (He planted an "onion", but harvested a "carrot".)
He brushed a "sheep", gathered it's wool, and then went into the chicken coop. I love this picture of him looking at the "chickens."
After he had done all of this, he went into a building where he had to sort all of the things in his basket. He put them into the correct bins and then got a "dollar" for his hard work. We then walked into the Country Store where he was able to buy a snack with his hard earned money. He chose a cereal sample of Fruit Loops. It was so fun!
After the farm, we went to look at the livestock. We saw a lot of varieties of sheep, goats (Sawyer is petting one in the pic), cows, horses, rabbits, pigeons, chickens, and an emu. He tried to touch as many as he could. He loves seeing the different animals.
We also went into the produce building and looked at all of the fruit and vegetables. A favorite of the children was the GINORMOUS pumpkin. It was funny because they all had to lean on it. Sawyer kept wanting to go back to it.
After lunch, we were walking back towards the exit to get on the bus, when we saw a man walking his geese along the path. The kids all giggled to see the geese dressed up in their finest.
Overall, it was a fun day. Most of the little ones, and some of the teenagers, fell asleep on the bus ride back to the school. Then Sawyer and I went to get some frozen yogurt before we had to go and pick up Scott from the bus stop.
P.S. All of the dates on the pictures are wrong.

I love it! What a fun idea for a preschool outing! I can't believe how big he's getting either! It's important to have an outlet for your social butterfly :-)
