so thanksgiving was fun. it actually started the sunday before when we went to scott's mother's house for dinner with her family. we ate and hung out for a couple of hours. this is a pic of peanut and gg (great grandma.) he eats everything right now, even gg's fingers.

on thursday we went to scott's other grandma's house and hung out with scott's dad, mom, sibs, and 'aunt, uncle, and cousins'. peanut got to be with his aunt...
it was a long day, but totally worth the pie! hee hee... we devastated about 5 or 6 of them!

we all played... peanut shared his new tummy time toy with his "cousins."

and then we were all tuckered out.
we got home just in time to give peanut a bath, get him ready and snugly for bed, and have a giggle fest (apparently the -ink word family is hilarious!) sorry about the amateur camera work...

he does have a band-aid on his cheek from a self-inflicted scratch. baby fingernails grow way too fast!!

we are in big trouble! it all started when scott placed sawyer on the bed last week. he had just set sawyer down when all of a sudden, he rolled from his tummy to his back. scott put sawyer on his tummy again, and sure enough, he flipped over. for the rest of the week we tried to see if he could turn over consistently, but sawyer would just get frustrated and start crying. "whew!" we thought, "maybe we have a little more time." we both know that once the rolling over starts, every other kind of moving around is sure to follow. (our place is definitely not baby proof yet!) then, to our mix of joy, wonder, and dismay, sawyer proved to us that he is the one with the plans. he is now rolling over all of the time. at least it is still only when he is placed on his tummy. (he hasn't mastered the back-to-tummy move yet.) we have a couple more weeks of changing diapers on the bed and sofa...right? yeah, i know....keep dreamin'.
